- INSTALLATION
- ------------
-
- UPGRADING FROM A VERSION PRIOR TO v2.00:
-
- Unarchive the installation archive to the directory where you have Suggested
- Files currently installed, and overwrite any existing files with the same
- filename. Once the archive is finished unarchiving, run the program
- SCONVERT.EXE to convert your data files. You will then need to edit any
- batch files that call Suggested Files, as the filename has changed from
- SFILE.EXE to SFILES.EXE. You may then delete the files SFILE.EXE and
- SFILECFG.EXE, as the Setup program is now called SETUP.EXE. You may wish
- to run SETUP.EXE to check the settings for your system to make sure they
- are correct. You will need to call PCsource BBS (see below) to download
- your new key file. Once connected, go to the IVsoft Support Center, and
- select Pickup Waiting .KEY files. You will then be presented with a menu
- of current IVsoft programs. Find Suggested Files, select it, and select
- Download to receive your keyfile.
-
- UPGRADING FROM VERSION 2.00:
-
- Unarchive the installation archive to a temporary directory, and copy the
- .EXE files to the directory where you have Suggested Files installed.
-
- INSTALLING SUGGESTED FILES FOR THE FIRST TIME:
-
- Unarchive the installation archive to the directory where you wish to have
- Suggested Files run from. If you have already unarchived it to a temporary
- directory, you should make the directory you wish Suggested Files to reside
- in, and move all the files to that directory.
-
- Once you have all the files placed in the appropriate directory, you should
- run SETUP.EXE to configure Suggested Files. Please refer to the
- CONFIGURATION section for information on setting Suggested Files up.
-
